I know who killed me

I consider myself a connoisseur of movies. I watched "I know who killed me" last night - a Lindsay Lohan movie. Now, I know she has had some serious bubblegum movies, but this was not one. The ending is interesting - but I highly recommend this movie.

It is so not a Disney movie - it is so interesting. I would like for you to watch it and let me know what you think.

It is a little gruesome, so do not watch it w/ your children... Definitely a few yucky parts (blood and guts) and it does elude to some nudity - so definitely not for kids...

Rocking and freakin' rolling

So, Things are going okay this week. I am getting kind of bitchy so we all know what that means. Regardless, work has been pretty good (even though every day I have consciously thought about calling in) and life itself has been grand...

So, let's keep up the great work!

BATCH

So, the other night I was in Target w/ my sister and I called her a biatch (jokingly about something) and I turned around and saw that the movie THE EYE (jessica alba) had come out - so after calling my sister a BIATCH, I said, OH, the EYE is out! she thought I was taking the I out of BIATCH and calling her a batch - and that meant that I thought she was over weight.

Once I figured out what was going on we nearly peed our pants with laughter (snorting ensued)...

Speaking of which - why did the lobster blush?

Because the sea wee-d

Sadness

So, I walk into work this morning and I have an email from a former co-worker in my old office in Dover stating a guy who was a temp there died on Sunday.

The first day Tom started at work, we called him Ground Hog. I can't remember if he was called ground hog because he kept walking by (over and over again, like we were experiencing GROUND HOG DAY, the movie or because when he would get lost he would pop his head up and look like a ground hog sticking out of a hole - I think it was because of the movie)

So, since I am single girl who likes to chat up the guys - I started talking to him, emailing him through out the day and just being chatty. I invited him to my bon voyage party - he didn't show- but he also carried my stuff out to the car for me on my last day - and we emailed a few times after that.

About a week ago after I got out of training, I tried emailing him and it got sent back - I guess his temp job was over and he got a new job - and now this... I am deeply saddened as he was a nice, well rounded, 29 year old man - who died suddenly.

Real pain in the arse

So, my dad turns 75 on 6/24 and as we know my mom and I aren't speaking. Dad is coming up for a visit on father's day to celebrate his day. So, my sister tried emailing to see what the plan was.

She got a response from my mother who stated that my dad doesn't want a party - but she is going to have cake and ice cream and isn't planning on inviting me.

Does that sound childish? How often does one's father turn 75? Well, I have a softball game (season opener, might I add, in DOVER) on the same day as my dad's non-party, so I wouldn't be able to make it.

I wonder if he knows I am not invited to his non-party.

FINALLY

So, I couldn't remember my password for like ever! Hence no blogging... I have finally remembered it... YEAH!

So, life has been good since my move to the CONC. I have great friends that live right down the road from me and LOVE me like there is NO TOMORROW. It feels great, especially when I am away two weeks in training and I get texts telling me that it is "bull sh^t that I have to have training and they need their KATIE MILLS TIME".

Living in Dover, I really only had my work friends and I think because I was such a basket case they didn't really care for me outside of work. It is nice to have friends that want to hang out w/ me!
